What is the Role?
This is an exciting, newly created role with no boundaries for great ideas. As the SnapComms technical webmaster, you’ll have ownership of our main site – converting visitors to leads from around the world.
You’ll sit within the digital marketing team, but also work closely with our technical developers – the best of both worlds!
Who are we looking for?
We need a digital dynamo with sound knowledge of the whole web development, maintenance, and optimisation process.
Someone who can take overall technical ownership of our website, to successfully deliver our solutions online in a competitive global marketplace.
Most importantly, we need someone with the experience to confidently bring our business strategy to life online.
What will your day look like?
You’ll be developing and maintaining our website, ensuring user-friendly design, clear navigation, and good functional development.
To improve site performance, you’ll provide recommendations to drive CRO, identify opportunities for site enhancement, and craft beautiful SEO-optimized webpages from text-based content.
You’ll work with the technical team to ensure that integrations and overall site architecture aligns with the wider business. Plus, you’ll be providing input to other software and product-related projects from time to time.
What sort of person are you?
You’re equally comfortable interacting with marketing and technical staff, work well in teams, and are confident enough to convince colleagues about web best practice.
At a technical level, you’re proficient with front-end and mobile-responsive design, including HTML/CSS and Javascript.
You’ll also have a strong understanding of the Google suite (especially Analytics and Search Console) and Adobe products (InDesign and Illustrator), as well as good working knowledge of SEO.
You’re a proactive learner – self-motivated to keep abreast of the latest technical and SEO innovations, and excited to put them into action.
Your keen eye and analytical abilities will help you troubleshoot any issues.
What can you back it up with?
You’ll have 5+ years’ experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer. You might also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Design or Development.
If your experience includes web animation, HubSpot or Google AdWords, you’ll really stand out from the crowd.a
