This international market leader urgently requires highly competent software engineers to complement their existing software engineering team skills. Based in Auckland, these permanent roles provide an exciting opportunity to bring your Software development experience to a new and expanding team.
Essential for this role:-
- At least 5-10 years' experience in Software engineering
- Strong design and development in C#. C++ very beneficial
- Experience with current and next gen platforms: Xbox, PS, PC, HoloLens, graphics, 3D math, physics or AI
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with other engineers to obtain optimal results
- A passion for developing high quality software
Ideally you will also have experience with:-
- Writing software design documentation including UML diagrams
- Designing software with automated software testing and test driven development for automated functional and unit testing
- Applying good Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices within an Agile environment with continuous integration, Test Driven Development (TTD) and code review.
- Designing the software architecture for a variety of projects.
- Multi-threaded environments and network principles.
Excellent communication skills, an ability to problem-solve in a variety of situations and being able to travel when required are also essential.
