Role Overview
You will be providing invaluable day-to-day support to the Retail Client Development Team, working in the area of sales for our Grocery Scan, Consumer Panel Services, and Advanced Analytics services.
The Client Development Team will be your primary internal client, and you will also work closely with the Finance, Analytics and Client Response teams.
You will be deeply involved in the management of client sales cycles, contracts, sales process, billing and revenue, as well as develop a close understanding of our clients’ businesses, their needs, and current and potential Nielsen services.
This role opens career progression paths within the Client Development teams for Retail, Media, and Custom Insights, as well as cross-functional career progression to Client Response, Analytics, or Operations.
Role Responsibilities
Use Salesforce software on a daily basis for management of client accounts, contacts, sales opportunities, service deliveries, and billing. Required training will be provided.
Track and monitor contract start and end dates. Proactively drive contract renewal process.
Work continuously with Client Response and Analytic Consulting teams to ensure that leads and opportunities are picked up, pertinent information about clients is shared, account strategy is aligned, and the relevant people are consulted and/or informed of key activity on an account.
Support the wider Client Development team through solid understanding of and ability to leverage and articulate the steps involved in the Nielsen Enterprise Selling process. Required training will be provided.
Be the day to day contact for the Retail Data Agency function for Retailer RAW data across the Retailer Channels Nielsen acts as data agent for.
Understand how to price Nielsen's products and the process we use. Support Commercial consultant and Commercial Team lead in preparing RFP. Required training will be provided.
Be alert, interested and care about the commerciality of our business.
Role Requirements
