This established IT business based in Wellington's CBD has a position available for a full time Service Desk Analyst in order to support their growing client base.

They provide exceptional IT support services to nationwide clients on a daily basis. There is a very strong reputation built up through outstanding team members who possess friendly, easy going yet professional personalities. The office is very active with sporting and social events reflecting the great team atmosphere and is not your typical technology support company.

This role will be busy and challenging, allowing good scope for personal and professional development.

The responsibilities of this role are to:

• Provide exceptional server and desktop support to clients and senior engineers
• Provide 1st and some 2nd level support for clients
• Proactively identify the best solution for particular customer needs
• Maintain and develop excellent customer relationships.

Skills and experience:

  • Have completed the A+ certification or equivalent experience
  • You will have had a minimum of one year in the IT industry supporting Microsoft environments
  • Be a well-rounded individual
  • Have obtained or working towards a formal IT qualification
  • You will work well in a team environment but also be a self-starter
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral – are essential
  • You will be professional in attitude and have a commitment to quality
  • You will have provided direct service to customers

A good sense of humour and the ability to work under pressure is a must.
