Serato is one of the world leaders in audio software for professional DJs, producers and musicians. World-renowned artists such as DJ Snake, Questlove, A-Trak, Jasmine Solano and Snoop Dogg love our products and perform with them on a regular basis.

A rare opportunity has opened up within our team and we are now looking for a talented person to join Serato as a Head of Data and Insights. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you would be leading the data team and responsible for delivering tactical and strategic insights as well as the overall data roadmap.

You would be involved in various tasks such as:

• Defining how the business can create additional value through the utilization of its data assets and analytics

• Working with the executive team to enable data to become a part of everyday decision making

• Influencing macro-level strategic direction setting and new propositions development to micro-level decisions around communication and messaging

• Building an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our target audiences that can be activated across paid, owned and earned channels

• Developing models that use consumer research techniques and application of advanced predictive and optimization modelling techniques

• Writing and/or overseeing the development of insights and reports

• Ensuring the robust application of data science techniques  

Highly valued skills for this role:

• Providing succinct answers to complex questions

• Managing demand from within the organisation

• Telling stories with data

• Experience of both attitudinal and behavioural data mining

• Deep understanding of Insight & Decision Science methodologies

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Demonstrated experience leveraging web analytics data to drive insight

• SQL skills are a plus

• Understanding of tech, marketing and advertising stacks

• Excellent maths and stats knowledge

• Demonstrated management skills and experience is a must
