Our Enterprise Data Management team is growing!
We are currently looking for senior ETL/Data Integration practitioners with a passion for working with data through the complete lifecycle in enterprise-scale settings.
You will be experienced in:
• Working with complex data in various forms, such as XML, JSON, CSV as well as traditional relational databases – a thorough understanding of SQL is essential.
• Storing data effectively, designing databases and schemas to efficiently manage data, experience using toolsets such as SSIS, DataStage, SAS DI Studio, Informatica or SAP Data Services – the willingness and ability to learn new tools is a must.
• Experience using relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in both agile and traditional software delivery life cycle.
You will also have excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
In addition, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
• Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Perl, Bash, .Net.
• Cloud-based technology such as Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Big Data tools and technologies such as Hadoop or Cloudera
• Connecting to Web Resources or APIs using REST, SOAP, OAuth
• Information management and governance processes
You will most likely have a relevant tertiary qualification and have at least five years of ETL/data integration work experience in a real-world setting.
Consulting experience is desirable and experience in industries such as banking, insurance, energy, telco or government is also advantageous.
