About the role
We are looking for experienced and qualified Field Service Technicians to provide telecommunication installation and maintenance services for the copper network in the region of Warkworth / Northland.
Reporting to the Field Manager, as the Field Service Technician you will be responsible for fixing faulty copper circuits in a safe, professional and timely manner, which will include effectively completing Pro-active maintenance work.
Due to the increase in Pro-active maintenance work being undertaken and the requirement to efficiently manage peak fault volumes, we are seeking individuals with First Time Fix competency who have proven experience in delivering telecommunication installation and maintenance services.
The successful applicants will be required to travel to regional and remote locations as required.
About you
You will be dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment, providing outstanding customer service, committed to delivering innovative solutions, and have the ability to manage changeable work situations. In addition to this you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience with Residential Works, Cable repair and / or install work, or ADSL
- Be a results focused self-starter with strong time management skills
- Proven ability to problem solve and make decisions independently
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a safe and productive manner
