With a pedigree of over 20 years my client is now experiencing massive growth internationally and because of that, there is an ever-increasing demand to expand their team here in New Zealand on Auckland's North Shore.


The Role
This is a newly created role for a team that is being set up to build new functionality for my clients CRM product. The role will see you leading a high performing team of JavaScript and QA Engineers in an environment that prides itself on collaboration and innovation. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Mentoring other engineers around best practice standards
• Working with the squad to break down stories into manageable tasks
• Guiding the team through sprints to achieve high quality outcomes
• Taking ownership of the development process from an architectural perspective

  
The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Strong background in ES6 development
• Strong experience with React (Redux, Node, Mocha-Chai, WebPack) or MEAN stack
• Technical leadership and design level skills
• Prior team leadership experience
• Agile facilitation will be a vital part of this role, your skills will be on point in this area
• Only candidates presently based in NZ will be considered and you must possess the required visa to work in a full-time role
