Due to increased demand for their products, their team is growing and they're looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join their software team in Auckland.  You'll have a genuine software background, you fully understand data structures, object oriented principles and basic software design.  Reporting to the Software Team Leader, you'll be working with other cross-functional engineering teams on a range of projects (not web development) that involve Android, Linux and low level embedded software technologies.  You’ll be utilising your sound C and C++ skills and will be designing and reviewing architected modules and software systems supporting new technology or improving capability/performance of existing functionality.

In order to be considered for this amazing position, ideally you’ll have: 

• An exceptionally high level of both verbal and written communication skills is essential
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, i.e. BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar is essential
• Between grad level to 4 years software engineering experience required
• Solid proficiency in writing software in both C and C++ is essential
• Experience or knowledge in data structures or object-oriented design methodology is essential
• Knowledge of Linux or embedded Linux would be preferred
• A passion for audio / music and consumer electronics would be preferred
• Flexibility for some local and international travel may be required
