We are recruiting a Lead C++ Software Engineer to join this amazing new business. The person that we're looking for is well organised, self-motivated and passionate about programming. Work will include design and development of application prototypes and service integration tools, working with other team members to design and implement new product concepts.
We are looking for a detail focused engineer with experience in all major aspects of the software development lifecycle, from design through to unit testing and product maintenance. Good communications skills and a strong teamwork ethic are essential. An enthusiasm for new technology, rapid development projects and the willingness to get projects moving quickly is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the product design and feature estimation.
- Contribute to product documentation and unit testing.
Essential skills:
- Fluent in C/C++ and Python.
- Testing experience, experience writing test cases.
- Expertise in Project Management techniques such as Agile/Scrum.
- Experience running a team of software developers
- Knowledge of embedded programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Computer Vision and Graphics (e.g. OpenCV and OpenGL)
- Knowledge of Machine Learning (e.g. TensorFlow)
- Knowledge of Signal processing
- Web Development Experience with Database Development/Deployment.
