As Global eCommerce Product Manager , you will be responsible to identify, develop and continuously enhance a seamless, end-to-end digital customer experience that eliminates current pain points by aggregating customer behaviour to influence future product feature-sets. You will drive prioritization of new feature enhancements, justifying the investment as needed. You will also ensure instrumentation and collation of metrics to analyse commercial and behavioural customer insights. Sounds easy!!

You need to love building cross-functional relationships  and working collaboratively with Engineering and Operations, Brand/Design, BI, Marketing, CS & Operations teams across various countries and locations, to conceptualise, design, prioritize and deliver best-in-class customer experiences across all websites and devices to maximise traffic generation and conversion. Your track record reads like this:

  • 5+ years of experience operating, managing, and delivering results in a consumer facing online retail/services or software product management or project management role; international experience in a matrixed environment preferred
  • Ability to lead the planning, management, execution and tracking of online growth using web analytics tools (Omniture, Google Analytics)
  • Highly data-driven and analytical; capable of independently performing and presenting business insights and constructing business cases for new opportunities
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Strong problem solving capability and skill
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and project management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Highly proficient in Agile/Scrum methodology (Certified ScrumMaster or Product Owner qualification preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Experience with Demandware (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), Confluence & Jira preferred but not mandatory

And this is how you will nail this role:

  • Define, own and communicate the product roadmap and prioritization (including development of business cases) to best determine how to service new customer acquisition, retention and conversion. As the architect of the customer service experience, leverage consumer insight and technology trends to drive innovative and differentiated strategies in line with the brand positioning.
  • Be a champion for data-driven decision making, identify and measure key product and business metrics to help inform improvements across all consumer touchpoints. Drive analytics and continuous optimisation of outputs across customer behaviour, demand generation, site usability, conversion improvements and cost reduction via the product roadmap
  • Partner with the Regional eCommerce Managers, Global Marketing Manager and their corresponding teams to ensure alignment on customer expectations and Icebreaker standards while balancing between global scale and local/regional specificities. Facilitate feedback loops from regional Customer Service and Operations teams ensure visibility and continuous action and customer satisfaction improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business strategies and product roadmap into user stories and detailed specifications, supported by systematic documentation. Partner with cross-functional teams to build superior user interaction designs in line with brand, and collaborate with the Global Engineering and Operations team and third party vendors/partners to ensure a timely delivery of high-quality software through regular releases in an Agile manner.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies throughout the entire development lifecycle to ensure all stakeholders and vendors/partners are aligned in terms of scope, timeline and risks. Iteratively fine-tune business processes across the Global eCom and other cross-functional teams to streamline way-of-work and development processes.
  • Drive and sustain a culture of experimentation and innovation to address core customer needs, and influence investment choices that will cultivate long-term innovation for the consumer. Benchmark competitive experiences across the industry and relevant consumer segments to drive targeted improvements across all digital touchpoints.
