We're looking for someone with a good understanding of automation testing techniques and a minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Developer using open source/propriety tool sets. Ideally you will also have experience in test driven development and component testing. This role may suit a Junior to Intermediate Dveloper who is keen to get exposure to new technolgies and plan and design your own frameworks.
You will have demonstrated skills and experience in creating performance test plans and automation test approaches for a range of project methodologies. You will ideally have the ability to provide test management and leadership for clients throughout both performance and automation test lifecycles.
As a consultant for Qual IT, you'll need to be able to come up to speed at a new client site quickly and use your outstanding communication and people skills to liaise, negotiate and collaborate with project stakeholders independently and mentor other Testers. You must be proactive in your interactions with clients and take initiative to seek out and thoroughly gather requirements and information to ensure you are providing and delivering the best possible solution.
Your technical skillset will include:
- Practical and current experience with a range of open source and commercial test automation technologies (e.g. Selenium WebDriver, Jasmine, Appium, Specflow, Cucumber, TOSCA, Test Complete, XCode UIAutomation) across modern front-end, back-end and Cloud environments
- Development experience with programming languages and concepts (ASP.Net, C#, Java, modern javascript front-end frameworks).
- Experience and knowledge of working in a CI/CD environment across multiple environments.
- Awareness of networks, performance and secure software coding practices.
- Significant experience in test automation across varying levels of architecture
- Experience in test driven development and component testing
