Imatec Solutions are currently looking for a seasoned IT Systems Engineer with a range of technical knowledge to be based in Matamata.
The position is varied from working with large businesses with multiple locations to home users, so if you love working in IT, problem solving, and dealing with people then this could be for you.
Responsibilities include:
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network / systems configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, software, and hardware
- Implement and maintain all IT policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain LAN, WAN and VPN connections
The successful applicant will have:
- Related IT experience
- Experience working with servers, desktop, storage, networks, the works.
- The ability to take the technical jargon out when dealing with clients.
- Experience in customer facing IT service roles.
- Excellent communication skills, including excellent spoken english
- Proven experieince working in all areas of IT from Level 1, 2 & 3 support to project work.
You must be willing to work outside of normal business hours when project work or on-call work is required.
