About the role
The Jade Implementation team has a senior position available in Christchurch for an Implementation Operations Manager. This is an exciting role with the key purpose of providing leadership and governance to the Implementation team and clients during Master Terminal implementation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- management of the Project Management office
- governance of medium sized projects
- engagement with client project sponsor
- project management
- documentation review
- management of risk mitigation on projects
- monitoring health and safety of the global team
- project reviews internally and externally
- internal projects aligned to the maturity matrix.

About you
As the successful candidate you will possess:
- a degree relevant to the role and a PM qualification and experience
- the ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects concurrently
- domain knowledge, including knowledge of the implementation of TOS or ERP software
- experience as a PMO Manager or experience in a mature PMO set up
- the ability to utilise Microsoft Project (project server), Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Visio to a high degree of efficiency also experience with a process mapping tool such as Promapp or Xsol
- the ability to travel overseas and at short notice
- resilience and flexibility to work through the 'global week'
- the ability to build excellent relationships with remote workers and clients
- strong consultative interpersonal skills
- strong written and verbal communication
- a track record of consistently defining and meeting schedules
- a demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team.
