Out of this transformation journey, a new set of roles have been introduced to the Technology Division. As one of the Product Owner for the Account and Pricing team, you will own and drive the product roadmap for a set of technology capabilities which are aligned to a Platform team. You will achieve this by communicating the vision for the technology to the teams whilst ensuring they are taking ownership of the capabilities that they are responsible for and assuring that business benefits are delivered.

* Responsibilities will include: *

  • Providing vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the technology delivery cycle
  • Leading the creation and management of roadmaps incorporating all technology, financial and business considerations
  • Create funding requests and user stories to secure funding to deliver to those roadmaps
  • Planning and prioritising the delivery of the strategic backlog across assigned technology capabilities
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure that the backlog incorporates all key epics required to deliver business value/ROI
  • Partnering with specialists across ASB and within the teams to ensure rapid iterative delivery of high quality outcomes
  • Working with the cross-functional teams and specialists to achieve timelines set for the rapid iterative delivery of new features/solutions
  • Providing effective Product Ownership to enable successful delivery of new and improved platform capabilities by teams using fit for purpose delivery techniques
  • Leading the restoration of services following outages and ensuring that all High Impact Incident activities are completed and services are restored

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Have wide industry knowledge of technology, understanding of software development life cycle events and ideally financial services knowledge
  • Proven track record of experience of technology delivery and support in multiple environments
  • Be able to analyse and think critically as well as drive improvements based initiatives
  • Have strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members
  • Have the ability to build credible customer relationships both in immediate team and across multiple customer/stakeholder groups
  • Be able to create, articulate, and realise a future state roadmap for the assigned technology capabilities
  • Proven leadership experience in incident and problem resolution for business critical services
