The Company
An industry leading Public Sector Company is on the lookout for a heavily experienced Enterprise Java Developer to join their team. The role will focus on the Open Source Ecosystem focused primarily on project delivery. This role is based in the Wellington CBD.
The role
As an experienced Enterprise Java Developer, you will be required to
- Work collaboratively in product teams with Solutions Architects, Designers, Technical specialists, other developers and operations staff to define and deliver detailed applications design and development for part of the entire solution.
- Coordinate and lead the completion of technical tasks as required
- Assist with the creation of detailed solution development plans and messages
- Designing and developing interfaces to disparate systems using standards based integration mechanisms
Requirements
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall software development environments
- Knowledge of continuous integration patterns and automation technologies such as bamboo
- Skilled in Java, Linux (RHEL), Camel, Spring and Maven/Gradle
- Ability to adapt to different project delivery methods to suit individual projects
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements and development alternatives.
