The Ministry of Social Development has one of the largest IT Groups in the country, managing the full Solution Delivery Life Cycle from strategy and design to management and on-going support of IT Systems. In order to enable the Ministry to deliver business outcomes to its clients, the Infrastructure and Services team must deliver reliable and secure technical solutions underpinned by excellent service and support. We provide a dynamic and evolving environment with a scale and complexity that will challenge and reward you. We support business critical systems, provide leadership in the development and delivery of business solutions and a total focus on excellence in customer service.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our DBA team within Infrastructure Applications.

The Database Management group is responsible for the operational support of the Ministry’s Oracle Server database environment which consists of more than 100 distinct production databases and 300 non production databases.
