With a role in the Northern Digital Forensics Unit (DFU), based in Otahuhu, you will have the opportunity to receive world class training and experience in the field of Digital Forensics. We are looking for someone who is team orientated, will get involved, and bring fresh and positive energy to the team. Although this role has an information technology aspect, due to the nature of the work and environment, personality is just as important as technical capabilities to be successful in this role.

You will need to demonstrate the following technical requirements:

• The ability to balance conflicting priorities in order to manage workflow, ensure the completion of essential tasks, and meet critical deadlines.

• Broad range of knowledge and experience relating to computer hardware, software and network technologies.

• Self-motivation, and the ability to work and communicate positively in a team environment.

The successful candidate for this role will:

Additional Information:

The successful applicant to this position will be placed within the Digital Forensic Analyst career structure at a level commensurate with their skills and experience.

Successful applicant must reside in Auckland

Special Requirements:

Must pass and retain Certified Forensic Computer Examiner certification from the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists as part of training and career progression.

The successful applicants to this position are required to undergo a full reference check prior to any offer of employment being made and must either have or obtain a Government security clearance to Secret level. This requirement means you must have resided in one of the following countries for the last ten years: New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, or United States of America.
