We are looking for an experienced engineer to hit the ground running as the system owner for our Azure Stack deployment. You will inherit a production platform, positioned as the only public self-service Azure Stack cloud platform in New Zealand. To be successful in the role, you will be well versed in Azure with knowledge of Azure Stack! You will work closely with the Engineering Lead and Product Manager/Owner to take the Azure Stack product to market, as well as support the wider Product Team as an engineer for the Umbrellar Platform.

Ideally, you will have proven experience in a large scale enterprise, hosting company or systems integrator. 

As the Azure Stack system owner responsibilities include;

• Delivery and development of the ‘Umbrellar Cloud powered by Azure Stack’ product
• System health, observability and availability
• Lifecycle maintenance, updates and upgrades
• Integration with Cloud Platform and Business Apps, including billing/usage pipelines
• Functionality in line with customer and business requirements, and market trends
• Technical relationships with Microsoft product and support teams
• Supporting and upskilling Cloud Services Team on Azure Stack

As a member of the Cloud Product Team you will also support;

• Day-to-day integrations and operations management of the Cloud LOB applications, APIs, workflows, synchronizations etc
• Product catalog and billing engine development and integration (Zuora)
• Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud systems development
• Mentoring the cloud teams and peers on Azure Stack and the Umbrellar platform
• Advanced and emergency after hours support where required
