We are building an awesome in-house digital team to design, develop and continuously improve digital products and services for our customers. This is a great time to join and be part the team that creates stunning responsive websites, apps and digital retail interfaces.
As a Digital Developer, you'll develop new digital experiences to enable NZ Post to deliver what people care about. You'll be a collaborative member of a Scrum team, designing, building, deploying and supporting NZ Post's digital solutions while collaborating with other developers and team members to inform technical design and code development. You'll actively seek out opportunities to leverage enterprise technologies for simplification and continuous improvement and have proactive involvement in the end-to-end lifecycle of digital features including design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
Critical to your success in this role is your broad and proven development experience working with frontend and backend technologies (including HTML5, CSS and CSS pre-processing frameworks, PHP, .Net, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, React Native and API implementations). You'll be a subject matter expert in in digital development best practices and be experienced in the use of code versioning tools and continuous integration/delivery environments. Ideally, you'll have agile certification, however experience successfully contributing to development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment is essential. Experience with Content Management Platforms (specifically Drupal) will be highly regarded.
