The Client
 
An internationally recognised professional services firm based in Auckland & Wellington have a need in their Finance team. Based in Auckland's CBD, this role reports into IT but supports the Finance division with their continued expansion of BI reporting capabilities.
 
The Role
 
The ability to solicit reporting requirements from the client, you will be able to work diligently and at times, autonomously to deliver on their BI dashboarding and reporting objectives.
 
With strengths in BI, SQL and SSRS, SSAS & SSIS, the key function includes:

• Production of timely, relevant and accurate management reporting
• Support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with the development and control of management reporting in Business Intelligence and SSRS reporting.
• Build reports & Macros in Excel for monthly reporting and complete monthly reporting
• Obtain data for analysis from the data warehouse and complete analysis required
• Develop and streamline client information on the intranet.
• Production of timely and accurate reporting for the firm’s key clients
• Build and upload relevant financial information on intranet systems.

The key Selection Criteria
 

• SQL, SSRS (SQL Services Reporting Services), SSAS (SQL Services Analysis Services)
• BI experience is essential with the proven history in building BI dashboards from scratch.
• The ability to build macros is essential
• Board reporting - Supporting the creation of Finance Board reporting.
• We are looking for a finance person with IT skills but open to field applications from candidates with IT BA skills.
