We need a Product Owner who will enable our client to deliver what people care about by inspiring and motivate scrum teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions to. We need a Product Owner who will enable our client to deliver what people care about by inspiring and motivate scrum teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions to. Essentially, your job is to make sure the team is building the right product while working in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define and refine the Product Vision, Product Roadmap, Release Plans, and the Product Backlog.
- Define, prioritize and own a backlog of digital journey and capability enhancements, and ensure that these enhancements are brought to market with quality
- Help develop sometimes amorphous ideas into a clear, workable vision and roadmap
- Add detail to user stories and accept/reject developed user stories
- Leverage data for decision making and backlog prioritisation, ensure focus and readiness for build through scrum teams
- Work with stakeholders, end users, and customers to understand needs and goals and answer questions.
- Act as the champion on digital initiatives by displaying a solid understanding of users, the market place, the competition and of future trends
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that digital solutions align with the business strategy
- Presenting Product Increments to the stakeholder, end users, and customers to ensure the team is building the right thing
- Possess strong business and leadership skills, technology expertise to understand what is possible from a digital experience and capability perspective, and the ability to articulate how digital solutions support retail partners’ and CRS’ business needs and objectives.
- Involve other teams (e.g. finance, legal, comms as needed)
- Communicate, cajole and wrangle the broader business to ensure successful, timely roll-outs
- Proactively remove business impediments raised by your team
- Working alongside other Product Owners and team members for continuous learning and mentoring. Lead and mentor other Product Owners and actively shares knowledge
- Live and breathe Agile values and help foster our Agile culture through active participation
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Agile product enhancement
- 3 years experience in a management role
- 3-5 years experience working in an agile team and environment
- Developing/managing digital capabilities across various digital channels.
- Managing a product roadmap with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in digital product design and ‘test and learn’ methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver change with a bias for action and urgency.
- Innovative thinker that challenges the status quo and develops creative, engaging and intuitive digital solutions for customers.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver informative and persuasive presentations.
- Agile methodology experience required
- Practice of Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery
- Possess a customer centric mindset.
- Advanced level understanding of corporate technology infrastructure and customer facing technologies; proven proficiency in successfully implementing digital technology change in a complex technology environment.
