The Company

Backed by one of the most renowned and respected brands in New Zealand our client is a digital product development company that is looking to revolutionise the retail market here in New Zealand. Backed by some of the brightest and most experienced minds in the e-Commerce space this is an organisation with lofty ambitions and they are now looking to scale their team for a January 2018 kick off!

The Role

This role has something in it for everyone! A mixture of NodeJS, Python, JavaScript, Cloud, and relational database design. We are looking for numerous backend focused developers with a sound understanding of object orientated programming, continuous integration, agile, and test automation. You will have the opportunity to drive forward a new bespoke product with feature-rich design which will be using the latest and greatest technology.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

5+ years experience with full stack development with a backend focus
Expertise with NodeJS will be looked upon very favorably but we will also consider Python or Java
Experience in the cloud with either Azure or AWS
The absolute key to being considered for this role is strong relational database design expertise. This must be your strength.
Any experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks/libraries such as VueJS, Angular or React is highly advantageous
Sound knowledge of CI/CD as well as Agile/Scrum delivery
Sound English communication skills. These roles are only available for candidates presently located in New Zealand with the required visa to legally work in New Zealand full time.
