An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Sales and Support Representative to join our client in their busy service centre from July 23rd 2018 - February 2019. With a nation wide reach, this locally owned business has their head office in Dunedin and is looking for a driven individual to join them Monday to Friday between 8:30am – 2:30pm (negotiable). This fixed term position will bring with it an opportunity for you to further advance your customer service and data entry skills, as well the chance for you to develop an understanding of the processing around customer accounts and the logistics industry.

To excel in this role you will be customer focussed and have an understanding of the importance of excellence in service delivery. You will ideally have prior experience with a large volume of over the phone communications, with both clients or suppliers and you will be confident in your communications and computer literacy. As well as being a quick thinker, you will enjoy working with customers and colleagues to find service solutions and will enjoy an open and dynamic office environment.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Taking customer orders and entering them into the service centre database
  • Using the businesses accounting system to enter credit notes on customer files
  • Processing orders and ensuring that delivery has happened in a timely manner with proof of delivery documented
  • Professionally handling the processing of both outgoing and incoming client calls
  • Data entry into Excel spreadsheets and general office administrative support
