About the role

You’re tasked with assisting with the effective capture, socialisation, and prioritisation of Vector’s digital project portfolio.  You’ll take an active part in facilitating and coordinating the Digital Portfolio planning process, along with supporting the Digital Leadership Team in managing relationships with key stakeholders from around the organisation. Contribute to and support the establishment of the Digital Portfolio planning function, including a process for people to easily submit and track their ideas. You’ll work with digital subject matter experts to gain a general understanding of the effort involved in potential solutions and validate and make updates where applicable to projects ideas submitted, ensuring a consistent capture of information across the portfolio. Provide strategic portfolio overview of all programmes, projects and interdependencies, reporting anomalies or areas of concern to your manager.  Provide high quality analysis to support the decisions of the Portfolio Governance Group. Monitor and assist in the mitigation of portfolio risks in relation to business priorities and manage the prioritisation model.

Who we are looking for

You’ll bring an analytical capability, with the ability to adapt your style to suit communications with subject matter experts, right through to Exec level. You’ve got strong problem-solving skills, able to breakdown and identify issues and mitigate risk. You have the right personality, aptitude and attitude to solve complex problems and have the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing. You’re disciplined and structured in your approach, but can be flexible to work with the ambiguity of operating within an agile environment.  You have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and will enjoy providing great customer service in our fast-paced environment. You’re an inherent influencer and know how to build great relationships to get things done.  You'll come from a proven background within and analytics, forecasting or planning role with a solid knowledge of innovation management and facilitation practises.
