The Role: 

One of the largest clients of this NZ consultancy is in need of an IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE Senior Java Engineer with solid and proven design, development, technical analysis and consultancy experience. Ideally, you will have had experience delivering solutions in modern Java Spring (MVC) frameworks. 

Your main task will be to continue the development of the services' layer of their main platform, to allow seamless integration between online portals, web applications, internal software etc.
As equally important, you'll be engaged in using and improving an innovative CD/CI model that has been internally implemented. 
 

The tech stack to master in order to be successful is:

• Java 
• Spring Framework 
• OAuth 
• Maven 
• Relational Databases (any) 
• Web services SOAP and REST 
• Working knowledge of design patterns 
• Working knowledge of application servers and web servers 
• Hands-on experience with UNIX based systems

You'll also need excellent written and verbal English skills and the ability to establish positive relationships at any level of the organization.
