Computer System Operator - Paymark
We’re New Zealand's leading payments provider, at the forefront of some exciting new technology and developments, connecting more than 80,000 merchants and 110,000 terminals throughout the country. Currently our network processes over 1 billion transactions a year at rates in excess of 171 transactions per second!
To keep this huge network running smoothly, we’re now looking for a savvy Computer System Operator to be part of our supportive and friendly Operations team!
Working out of our vibrant office located in Auckland CBD, you’ll ensure the constant availability of the EFTPOS computer system and related financial services to the merchant and Banking communities. Other responsibilities include the daily financial settlement ensuring all parties get paid on time as well as completing all maintenance processes to guarantee the integrity and efficiency of all computer systems.
To be successful in this role you’ll be someone who has:
- Experience supporting and monitoring computer systems, ideally with a skill-set involving HP NonStop systems and or the FIS Connex application
- Experience working on mainframe or mid-range computer systems
- Able to work on shifts in a 24*7 environment, 7-7 2 days and 2 nights
- Ability to manage multiple service requests with strict time limits on an ongoing basis
- Have sound troubleshooting and analytical skills.
