Mercy Hospice Auckland provides a range of specialist community palliative care and hospice services for people facing life limiting illnesses, caring for them with the utmost professional skill, compassion and quality of service.

We are looking for a savvy ICT professional to join our Operations team and we invite all candidates who have the relevant skills and proven experience to apply for this busy and varied role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing first tier assistance across the organisation to deliver a high level of customer experience and satisfaction
  • Monitoring, assessing, diagnosing, resolving or escalating all incoming tickets using the Atlassian JIRA task management platform
  • Helping to develop documentation and deliver comprehensive training to enable staff to use relevant ICT systems effectively
  • Supporting the employee induction process through the timely arrangement of new user accounts and appropriate application access
  • Monitoring network, phone system and other key technical infrastructure to minimise service interruptions

     

    What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience training end users in a variety of settings (one-on-one, classroom, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft cloud products, and the administering of Cisco Meraki equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting end user device and print issues
  • A broad knowledge of ICT systems & standards
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Exposure to Point of Sale systems
  • The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide and diverse range of people and cultures
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied work load and meet conflicting deadlines
