We are looking for someone with exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities to join the test team and be responsible for the managing test activities within the constraints of SKY Technology project schedules, costs, staffing and technical environments. These projects will include, but not be limited to mobile & web.

You should have previous experience conducting research into testing issues, standards, and products, have strong communication and presentation skills, and you must be a team player!

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, solutions and automated test scripts(Selenium and Appium)
• Create and review feature files, step definitions and scripts
• Work with the CI team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke") test.
• Ensure quality processes are in place for all testing deliverables.
• Create test cases for API testing
• Be part of the projects in earlier stages, prepare and review detailed testing documentation
• Ensure test strategies and test plans are delivered to standard
• Responsible for test plans, manual test cases, reporting and test exit criteria.
• Manage the testing management & defect resolution process.
• Escalate issues or problems to the appropriate authority.
• Manage test priorities, test workload and extended Test team

Key Requirements: 

• Relevant Tertiary qualification desired
• A minimum of 9 years of software application testing experience, with at least 5 years in a responsible hands-on Automation Test Lead role,  
• Strong foundation in Agile Software development practice
• Ability to work independently and lead the test work stream.
• High level of experience communicating with the business
• Familiar with formal testing methodologies.
• Expertise in using issue tracking and test management tools.
• Ideally ISTQB certified
