We are seeking a Graduate / Cadet who is eager to step out from behind the desk and apply their keen interest and knowledge of IT and electromechanical technology.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate / Cadet who has a keen interest in advanced technology, a broad understanding of IT infrastructure integration, and is motivated to add value to the dental and medical field.

The purpose of this role is to provide remote and onsite technical support to complex technology solutions used by dental practices across New Zealand, in addition to the integration of software into existing client environments.

Like many industries across the world, the Dental industry is rapidly evolving in its use of technology and automation.  This is a great career opportunity to apply your knowledge within a high tech and evolving field, specialising in dental and medical technologies such as dental CT scanning, digital x-rays, laser surface mapping, 3D printers, CADCAM milling machines.  

Based in our NZ head office in Albany.  You will be part of a small team of Technical Specialists who are passionate about meeting the needs of our valued customers – all dental practices across New Zealand. 

A large proportion of the role involves partnering with these small businesses to resolve problems and identify opportunities for them in their equipment and technology use.  For this reason we are seeking someone who can provide outstanding customer service, has an enquiring mind and is driven to learn and engage in our customers’ business to understand their needs.

The successful candidate will have:

• A qualifications in Computer science, information science, Electromechanical Technology or related field.
• An interest in advanced technology and broad understanding of IT infrastructure integration
• A high level of learning agility and curiosity
• The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams within the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A pragmatic practical approach to problem solving
• Broad knowledge of IT systems, Networks, Operating systems
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL
• Full NZ driver’s license
• Electrical Certificate (preferred but not essential)
