The hiring organisation:
You will be working within a business unit which provides key services around data warehousing, reporting, insight and analytics to internal business teams and external parties.
Excellent opening for someone wanting to utilise their development and consulting skills within an environment where your efforts drive real outcomes for the organisation, turning data in to knowledge.
Your role will involve:
-Scope, Identify and collate data from sources across the organisation in order to put together results and develop in to a common analytics platform.
-Liaise with stakeholders to provide guidance and advice around their BI/Data capabilities.
-Work with multiple technology platforms, and “think outside the box” to be able to deliver solutions in a challenging environment.
The ideal person will bring:
-Excellent provisioning capabilities, particularly utilising tools such as T-SQL.
-An understanding of reporting and analytics tools (R, Matlab, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau etc.).
-Advantageous: Knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack or Sybase IQ or similar technologies, as well as some experience in GIS technologies.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong relationship building skills and a collaborative approach to your work.
