We have an immediate need for an experience Solution Architect to help one of our customers on an initial 3 month contract. With a focus on logistics and supply chain this is a great organisation where you will work on interesting and diverse projects in an agile environment. 
  
You will have a proven track record working on and delivering large complex projects and/or systems in complex environments. Additionally, you are a self-starter who can work across multiple stakeholders to understand existing technology environments and future solutions.
  
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills need to be your forte!
  
Your responsibilities will include:

• Translating business requirements into architectural approaches and solutions by designing overarching system and solution architecture, system integration and realisation strategy
• Planning and management of project deliverables using consistent approaches and templates
• Leading implementation of evaluation, design and realisation planning
• Developing, implementing and managing architecture standards and guidelines

You will need:

• A minimum of 3–4 years’ experience working as a Solutions Architect
• Demonstrated knowledge of business and system architecture principles, frameworks, processes and governance
• Experience in vendor relationship management
• Proven ability to lead, develop and implement technology architectures and solution frameworks in a complex business and technical environment
• Excellent time management, multitasking and research skills
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to guide, negotiate and build consensus amongst large teams of software developers
