The Role

Our Managed Services team within our software division is looking for someone with a broad development background to join our Application Support team. Ours is a close-knit, highly capable team that support as well as enhance complex, enterprise applications for a variety of high-profile NZ customers.

A typical day will see you:

Provide expert and creative solutions across all support engagements ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity
Build, share and retain critical in-depth system knowledge of systems/applications developed· Gain in-depth understanding of our customer’s environments· Build effective working relationships within the Managed Services and across the Microsoft division
Consistently demonstrate the highest levels of customer service and professionalism
Adherence to all relevant support policies and procedures
Writing and editing documents such as support guides and technical specifications
Analyse requirements, assist in developing ETL solutions, write BI reports for customers
On-call rotation within the support team to provide 24/7 Client Support

The Person

We are on the lookout for a seasoned BI developer so if you have experience with most of the below we would love to hear from you

5+ years’ experience working on IT projects across multiple phases of the SDLC.
Good written and oral customer facing communication.
Good time management and an ability to multi-task/balance parallel work streams
Team player, enjoy working collaboratively.
Must be able to anticipate and proactively handle issues.
Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot.
SQL Server Full BI stack (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS)
ZAP
MS Excel (Advanced) a knowledge of excel formulas
Generalist development background
