If you have experience with information management and would like to part of a busy team in our Integrated Catchment Management Group, we want to hear from you!
Asset Information Officers contribute to the maintenance and development of the asset management system, and maintaining the GIS maps for use by our field staff. They also act as process and information improvement champions. The role involves data analysis, providing information inputs and outputs to staff, process development, staff training and ensuring data integrity and quality.
Successful applicants must have experience in information management and use of spreadsheet and database applications, with a high level of computer literacy. A working knowledge of GIS, asset management systems, and financial processes is also highly desirable.
A person with a laid back, cheerful personality who has good interpersonal and communication skills is preferable, as is someone who can balance ad-hoc requests with planned core business tasks.
