At Teletrac Navman, we are currently looking for an energetic and technically gifted individual to join our team as a Global Operations team.

Our Global Operations Team provides full application, infrastructure and network support for our SAAS installations worldwide. With some 220,000 vehicle connections across 13 geographical areas, this is not a role for fainthearted. Our existing team of high quality, hardworking engineers form a great team environment in which to learn and grow. In this role you will be responsible for the following;

• Partner with Development and QA departments to resolve system issues.
• Manage escalation communications through resolution with customer notifications and updates.
• Administer automated testing.
• Administer alerting software as needed. 
• Open system critical issues with development for R&D investigation when needed.
• Application and database deployments.
• Routine maintenance and system patching on all systems.
• Maintaining uptime for our customer’s applications and databases within SLA.
• Support Helpdesk and TFS Tickets processing.
• Rotating weekend on call duties, including resolving alert escalations. 

To be successful in this role you have already had some exposure providing high quality third level infrastructure installation, support and maintenance services to ensure company SLAs are met. You will be equipped with:

• A tertiary qualified in relevant field
• Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders
• Clear and professional communication style
• Sound business judgment and decision making capability.
• Able to apply past learning/training to resolve issue quickly and maintain uptime.
• The ability to organize and prioritize deliverables (critical few) to ensure on time delivery, including unplanned work accordingly.
• The capability to establish and maintain company relationships across teams to ensure effective communication and teamwork to meet established objectives.
