The hiring organisation:
You will be working within a business unit which provides key services around data warehousing, reporting, insight and analytics to internal business teams and external parties.
Excellent opening to join a team that has developed a new strategy, has new tools being implemented, and to help turn data in to knowledge to help change lives.
Your role will involve:
-Manage, collate, and store national data collections in to appropriate structure, building data marts and BI toolsets.
-Liaise with stakeholders to provide guidance and advice around their BI/Data capabilities.
-Propose technical solutions based on problems areas, and help develop data to deliver important outcomes for New Zealand.
The ideal person will bring:
-Excellent provisioning capabilities, particularly utilising tools such as Oracle SQL.
-An understanding of reporting and dashboarding tools (QlikSense would be very advantageous).
-Experience using Wherescape Red, or a similar ETL tool.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong relationship building skills and a collaborative approach to your work.
