This Role based in Auckland, New Zealand offers an exciting opportunity to work within a world renowned and truly global organisation as a Principal Security Consultant. 

Responsibilities:

• The role of  Principal Consultant is a highly experienced consultant recognized by their peers as an industry leader in the area of Cyber Security.
• You will be responsible for mentoring, training and supporting other consultants and engaging with clients in order to ensure they are getting the best service the business can offer. 
• As an industry leader, Principal Consultants are also expected to maintain the reputation of the organisation by participating in industry events and supporting pre-­sales activities as required.
• Works on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies
• Creates organizational knowledge about key technologies, tools and methodologies
• Develops formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization
• You will be the face of the business in the Auckland Region and will be expected to engage appropriately, professionally and with integrity.

  
  
Qualifications:

• Is a highly autonomous worker, able to operate with little to no supervision, providing well structured, concise and regular status updates
• Have approximately 8-10 years industry experience within their practice alignment in a consulting capacity
• Recognized technical expertise in all areas of Cyber Security.
• Strong team player and technical innovator with an ability to build and leverage relationships across the business and with clients.
• A relevant industry recognized qualification is preferred (CISSP, OSCP) is preferred or relevant industry experience to equivalent degree.

Consultants must be able to effectively balance workload and work effectively and closely with leadership and colleagues as well as mentor and lead new consultants within the ever-growing team.

We will be accepting international candidates for this role, however you must have extensive experience and be well known within Security Circles.
