The Tumu Wider Group continues to grow with over 630 employees spread across 16 different locations. With the increasing complexity of our business and our desire to drive efficiencies through technology we are looking to strengthen our internal IT knowledge and skills. As a result we have created a new role, ‘Group IT Manager’, responsible for overseeing our group technology needs and managing our existing IT team.
The Group IT Manager will be responsible for:
• Providing a reliable, efficient ICT platform to our users
• Providing strong leadership to the Helpdesk Team
• Supporting our businesses and operations in using ICT for growth and efficiency
• Driving technology improvements in our business
Keys to success:
• Ability to understand and empathise with our business needs and provide effective solutions
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to achieve success
• Ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organisation
• Strong technical capabilities, particularly in networking
• Experience in a ‘thin client’ networked environment
• Ability to create links between various data sources
• Proven project management skills
• Strong leadership ability
• Ability to implement and drive organisational IT change
• Ability to take a long term view and maintain a roadmap for the future
