This is a newly created position for a Senior Business Analyst with solid design, documentation and software experience. You will work closely with the transformation Programme Manager, Scrum Master and Project Managers in an Agile environment.

Our client is a large successful New Zealand brand and is seeking an Agile Senior Business Analyst who can identify, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which software solutions are implemented.

Description

• In this role you will work on enhancing existing and creating new products by interacting with the business units and stakeholders, gathering and defining product requirements and specifications.

• You will have to transfer the business's vision into job proposals, functional requirements and design documents and communicate them to developers, QA’s, project managers and business managers.

• Conduct analysis of delivered product ideas to evaluate whether the value hypothesis has been met and to document learnings that inform future decisions.

• Work with the wider development team and the SCRUM master, ensuring that the product strategy, vision, and road-map is understood.

• Demonstrate high levels of integrity and honesty.

• Demonstrate high level of commitment and support to both the company and the team.

Profile

Proven experience working as a business analyst within an Agile environment

A self-starter who is capable of learning on the job, takes initiative, and can thrive within a cross-functional team

Proven track record of leading the definition, launch and ongoing operations of consumer-facing products and/or services

Exceptional presentation and written communication skills

Analytical mindset with an understanding of and experience working with analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Excel

Understanding of underlying interactive technologies, such as web and mobile

 You have experience in customer development and integration projects.
