My client are a leading technology consultancy and due to growth are now looking to hire a Solution Architect.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to work with their team and customers to architect and deliver world class Marketing Cloud solutions that make a real difference to the business and their customers end customer. 
 
We are looking for someone who has:

- Proven track record as a Solution Architect.
- SOA/Integration experience.
- Ability to apply traditional marketing thinking and architect against Marketing Automation whilst bringing the teams around them along to be able to implement and apply to the platform would be advantageous.
 
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful you will have:
  • Proven experience as a solutions architect, successful delivery of a couple of projects as a solutions architect
  • Familiarity with server-side web development design languages, scripting tools, and protocols such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, HTTP, CSS, XSLT, AJAX, JQuery, SQL, SOAP, REST
  • Experience integrating with CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce, and Web Analytics
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Computer Information Systems or similar equivalent qualification would be useful
  • Dedicated experience in Marketing Cloud or interactive marketing technologies is ideal but not mandatory
  • Hands on experience in Marketing Cloud features i.e Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Content Builder would be preferred but not mandatory as product training will also be provided
  • Ability to multitask several accounts concurrently, well organized and capable of rapid context switching
  • Familiarity with any Salesforce CRM components will be an advantage
  • Posses critical thinking and ability to act as customer’s trusted technical / solution advisor
  • Basic experience/knowledge in RFP/RFI
 
 
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Interaction with both technical & non-technical customers to attain, analyse and design solutions for technical and business requirements.
  • Staying up to date on product certification, coaching, guidance and transfer of knowledge to the team through active coaching and mentoring and project application
  • Conduct solution discovery workshops, playback blueprint presentations and obtain customer acceptance to solution design.
  • In conjunction with our marketing specialist, develop visually rich and professional conceptual design documents targeted to varying audiences of business and technical aptitude.
  • Lead the development of detailed configuration specifications documentation targeted to technical consultants.
  • QA the delivery of marketing automation solutions against the platform.
  • Assist Sales team in drafting and managing response to technical requirements required within RFP/RFI proposals
  • Helps the account team with proposal creation by providing product advice and presenting the unique value of the company’s products to customer and how the products contribute to the customer´s business goals.
  • Contributes and supports the request for proposal (RFP) and request for information (RFI) process by coordinating information gathering from various teams and partners. Assists with customer communications, as needed.
  • Monitors the sales opportunity pipeline and assists presales teams to drive the sales process from initiation to closure.
  • Develop and deliver targeted & specific product demonstrations to enterprise executives & decision makers, as necessary.
  • Provide architectural best practice advise to customer and internal teams
