Our client is a software development company within the medical industry. They have offices throughout the world however their development team is based on the North Shore. They seek a strong and experienced development team leader who has come from a development background with modern languages preferable with a web development focus although C++ would be acceptable.
As the team leader you will be a successful scrum master who is used to driving the discipline required to achieve and sustain continuous delivery coupled with creating plans for converting the product backlog into working software. You will foster a culture of unit testing and set and hit sprint goals.
As an experienced team leader you will create a culture of trust and respect within the team and promote transparency of the development process. You will be responsible for setting the teams expectation along with mentoring, coaching and the personal development of team members coupled with the growth of the teams skill set. You will lead by example and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be a professional and experienced facilitator and have the ability to balance the conflicting demands of the team.
Skills and Experience
- Understanding of Agile methodology and frameworks
- Deep knowledge of web technologies used in the development environment
- Experience and good grasp of all aspects of the SDLC
- Experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve goals and deadlines
- Experience with .NET web applications (full-stack, or back-end, or front-end)
- Deep knowledge of more than one of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap, Angular.js,
- C#, SQL Server,
- Knowledge architectural patterns such as MVC, MVP, Micro-services
