We're on the hunt for a thought-leading Group Manager Architecture. Reporting into our dynamic Executive General Manager Technology and Digital, our T&D team do things differently, we're investing in technology and enabling the business to innovate. In this role, you'll be developing a successful partnership with our business areas, understanding their IT needs and business environments.
You'll act as the key influencer of our strategic and architectural direction so you'll bring a fresh thinking approach to encourage a scalable technology model and you'll think strategically to ensure value is derived from future IT investments. You'll be evolving an efficient, yet pragmatic architecture development methodology that supports our Scaled Agile Framework whilst continuing to provide the quality and consistency in the design, implementation and maintenance of solutions necessary to meet the strategic and operational needs of Genesis.
To be in the running for this role, you'll need the following skills and experience:
- Ten years' experience in the IT industry.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline.
- Experience leading an architecture practice in a medium to large organisation.
- Be able to demonstrate ongoing education and skills development in technology.
- Experience or knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks.
- Ideally, you'll have formal training in TOGAF enterprise architecture framework.
You'll be a positive, big picture thinker, you'll be naturally curious and resilient. You'll have a collaborative and engaging style, a strong understanding of commercial drivers, and adept negotiation skills will enable you to work alongside the wider business.
