About this role

 

This is a 12 month fixed term position, 

 

Working as part of our NZ technology division, this role is primarily responsible for providing our corporate travel businesses with support and services related to their technology systems. You’ll be identifying, assessing and resolving technical issues as well as taking a proactive approach to reduce frequent reoccurring calls.

 

Main duties include:

  • Initial assessment of incidents and service requests from our Corporate brands, monitoring and escalation of incidents
  • Logging incidents and requests in our call tracking system
  • Ensuring satisfactory resolutions with internal customers

 

Background & Experience

Our industry has very unique systems, so we are looking for someone with previous industry experience booking travel or, experience from a similar role within the industry.

 

We’re also looking for:

  • An analytical mind, with proven trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • Previous knowledge and experience with travel management systems is essential i.e. Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus
  • Exposure or knowledge of travel related online booking tools such as Serko
  • Understanding of basic accounting processes
  • Demonstrated communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • The ability to work under pressure and reach tight deadlines
  • Adaptability – able to quickly learn/understand new IT Systems & processes
