ASP.NET Developer

The ASP.Net Web Developer will work primarily in programming within the Digital team to develop web and mobile applications, build interactive interfaces, manage hosting administration and ensure high quality, error-free work.  
 
Responsibilities:

• Experience using Umbraco CMS to an expert level (customisations etc)
• Experience coding and integrating back end interfaces using technologies such as XML, JSON, SQL and setting up the hosting environments for the applications to live on (Microsoft Azure)
• Experience integrating API’s and implementing third party applications such as Facebook and Google Maps.
• Required to collaborate on complex, creative builds (Umbraco CMS)
• Liaise with other team members inside and outside of the agency.
• Develop full site structures with loaders, connections to backend technologies
• Contribute to brainstorming and client discussions
• Contribute to the creative process
• Awareness of best practices and emerging technology / trends (particularly in the mobile space)
• Experience to an intermediate level coding fast loading, minified HTML5/ CSS3/ Javascript/ Jquery web and mobile sites.
• Hosting set up and system support on cloud server infrastructure.
• Contribute to brainstorming and client discussions
• Working with the creative teams contributing to the creative process
• Contributes to the dev team, works with the creative and design teams as well as the producers as appropriate to projects.
• Contributes to overall team moral, spirit, character and work quality.
• Collaborates with Dev team members, manages workflow, QA, testing and implementation with team

Requirements:

• 2-3 years .net experience
• Front and Back End experience
• Must have experience using Git
• Mobile experience is absolutely essential
• Understanding of different project methodologies such as waterfall and Agile.
• Experience building and integrating API’s and implementing third party applications such as Facebook and Google Maps.
• You must have a deep understanding of UI programming
• Interpreting and contributing to creative and technical documentation
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to execute a website to creative expectations
• Must be a good technical troubleshooter and always willing to learn/experiment with new technologies and development techniques
• Experience with audio and video
