Your new company
Our client is a globally established telecommunications company seeking another Datacom Engineer to join their busy NOC team.
Your new role
Your main responsibilities include:
- Conduct the Datacom product pre-sale testing and prepare demonstration
- Conduct IP network delivery and maintenance
- Write design documentation
- Write test case documentation
- Engage with customer operations and design team
- Take care of fault tickets created by the customer
- Project reporting
- General network health checks
- Work in customer testing facility
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor degree or above majoring in Telecommunications or related area
- Minimum 2 years' solid integration/migration/cutover experience in Datacom Network
- Outstanding communication skills and able to liaise with all levels of internal and external customers and personnel
- Strong technical knowledge of IP network product areas, feature specifications, testing requirements
- Hands on skill and knowledge of IP routing ( BGP, ISIS,OSPF), MPLS technologies ( L3VPN, LDP,RSVP,TE), VPLS technologies ( L2VPN), DSL technologies ( ADSL,VDSL) and GPON technologies
- Knowledge of Network management systems
- Basic knowledge of VOIP
- Able to travel
