About the role
As Principal IT Security Assessment Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of IT Security Assessment Consultants in the provision of security consulting services such as networking vulnerability analysis. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Identify technical details for security engagements, performing pre-sales solution designs when required
- Manage client relationships through resolution/management of client issues
- Assist the sales team in scoping and defining statements of work
- Provide security assurance consulting services in relation to technical areas of clients’ security
- Manage multiple large scale complex projects and ensure that these meet scope, time and budget requirements
- Perform risk assessments on information system and infrastructure, and develop appropriate risk mitigation options to address security risks
- Provide technical leadership, coach and assist team members to achieve goals and resolve issues
Skills & experience required
- At least 10 year’s work experience, including 8 years in IT Security Consulting
- Relevant certifications (CISSP)
- Knowledge Project Management principles
- Sound knowledge of infrastructure and information systems
- Problem analysis and solution formulation skills
- Strong knowledge of consulting principles, systems analysis, design principles
- Display specialist and detailed technical expertise
- Leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
