Safety 'n Action is a New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) Accredited Private Training Establishment that delivers training in Occupational Health and Safety. As a nationwide provider, training is delivered directly at the client's site or at one of our purpose built training centres.

The Role

Dedicated to supporting the Technology and Projects Department with recommendations of continuous improvement strategies, staff training and implementation of various system changes, updates and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining all servers (cloud based and on-premises), relating services, branch networks (Local and WAN) nationwide
  • Management and maintenance of Windows Servers, MSSQL Databases, and various production software
  • Maintain all backups as required by the business
  • Responsible for all setup’s, upgrades, updates of IT hardware
  • Maintain the IP phone system and related hardware
  • Maintain the learning management system (Moodle)
  • Creating user profiles, maintaining security roles, issuing of access to various platforms as required
  • Lead the implementation of SharePoint and exchange upgrade to Office365/Azure
  • Support the CRM & Solutions Specialist with all CRM applications and CRM Dynamics 2016
  • Support digital marketing, SEO and website content updates
  • Project owner or leader for various IT hardware and software related projects
  • Provide helpdesk support to all staff as and when required

Key Experience

An ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in providing IT support to a medium-large size organisation
  • Excellent knowledge of operating systems preferably MS Windows Server 2012
  • Excellent knowledge of databases preferably MS SQL Server 2012
  • Exposure to CRM systems and applications – ideally MS CRM Dynamics
  • Hands on experience with installing hardware and software
  • Strong understanding of Server infrastructures & requirements
  • Strong understanding of cloud based services and applications
  • Excellent time management and communication skills

Education/ Qualifications

Bachelor or higher degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or similar
