About the company:
Our client is the South Island’s premier producer of made to order granite, marble, quartz & porcelain products for residential and commercial projects.

About the role:
The Project Co-ordinator is a critical "hub" within the operational part of the business. The main purpose of the role is to obtain purchase order confirmation, interpret documents/plans to enable the factory to manufacture from them and set foundations for the project. Your work will be based around joinery/internal design plans.

Key Responsibilities include

• Building client relationships and liaising with clients providing confident, credible customer service
• Attending to quote requests and processing confirmed orders
• Completing documentation and data entry promptly and accurately
• Planning, scheduling and allocation of tasks for production, dispatch and installation based on customer requirements, production capacity, staff skill set and location of job
• Scheduling resources and requesting materials to optimise service and profitability
• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

You will have the following attributes:

• CAD experience essential
• Background in design or joinery or relevant building industry experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong numeracy skills
• Details matter, you will be systematic and accurate
• Good time management
• Strong computer skills
