Senior Planner - Land Development - Wellington
A multidisciplinary consultancy specialising in land development, civil engineering and surveying. We are on the lookout for another Senior Planner to join their fastly growing Planning team.
The focus will be primarily working with residential and subdivision projects and a small amount of policy development work.
This is an opportunity for a senior to come in, take the lead on projects and play an integral part in the leadership of the Planning Division.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Providing advice to clients on resource management plans and policies.
- Resource consent for a wide range of small to large scale subdivision projects
- Processing a range of consents
- Policy development
- Providing innovative solutions for clients.
- Preparation of resource consent applications, assessment of environmental effects, notice of requirements and outline plans, and processing of consent applications.
- This candidate will have a strong background in land development projects ideally
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A tertiary qualification in planning/resource management or related discipline is essential
- Either solid experience working within a regional Council or Private.
- 4+ years' experience
- A member of the NZPI
- Good knowledge of the relevant Acts, legislation and practices.
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Hands on approach to mentorship
- Excellent organisational ability and good analytical skills.
