If so, we have the ideal role for you!

An exciting opportunity exists for a person who has the skills and experience to deliver play space, skate and outdoor half court renewal and development projects.

You will be accountable for ensuring the city's playgrounds are maintained and developed to best practice industry standards.

You will be an integral part of the Parks, Sport and Recreation Assets and Projects team and involved in a range of maintenance, renewal and development programmes across our parks and open spaces network.

As an individual you will have:

  • a tertiary qualification in parks, open space management, landscape architecture or equivalent experience
  • project Management in an asset development and renewals context
  • experience managing contractor relationships
  • the ability to effectively communicate to a wide range of stakeholders, both inside and outside the organisation.

This role will be an exciting step in your career as a parks, sport and recreation professional and an opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse team, making a real difference to the lives of Wellingtonians.
